Ron Paul Running For President

Ron Paul is a candidate I can get behind.

He's running for President and Congress and his platform is all about shrinking the federal government. That's my kind of politician.

Here's the story: http://news.yahoo.com/s/nm/20070312/pl_nm/usa_politics_paul_dc

This is good news!

He's Dead, Jim!

I announce this day as an official day of mourning for all of America.

That's right. The famous comic book hero, Captain America has died from a sniper's bullet as he exited a courthouse in his latest issue.

Read about it here .

I suggest waving the stars and stripes at half-mast for a week.

Global Warming Debate Heating Up

Here's a series of articles that prove that the debate among scientists about Global Warming is by no means over:

The truth about inconvenient deniers.

Nice acting job, Mr. Gore.

Money As the Root of All Good?

Been reading some interesting stuff about money. The latest came from Witnit.org in a post about the fictional character, Francisco D'Anconia. It's quite eloquent in its idealism.

Another provocative book is "How I Clobbered Every Bureacratic Cash-Confiscatory Agency Known to Man" by Mary Elizabeth Croft.
The above link takes you to page 75 where the section "Root of All Evil?" begins. I highly recommend reading all of Ms. Croft's 96 page pdf book.

Anconia says that money is the root of all good. Croft says money is the root of all evil. Are they in complete disagreement? You be the judge.
